Sorry! I couldn't remember how to long into this dang thing but now I do remember so here...is...life! A new semester started and I pretty much love all of my classes which is rare. I'm excited because I am taking classes I am interested in (ie not classes that just fulfill a Gen. Ed. requirement) and I'm doing all of this crazy stuff that I've never done before.
Granted it is kind of frightening because one of these classes is a musical theatre class in which I have no performance experience...at all but it's been fun and demanding in a good way (my body's gotten a pretty good workout).
Also I am taking a Zen class where we are learning about Buddhism and throwing in some philosophy too which has me thinking in a different direction then I ever thought my mind would go. The teacher went through the Buddhist discipline and is from somewhere in Eastern Asia. Pretty much a badass.
My other classes are more up my alley. Voice lessons and choir again. Also Japanese and Creative Writing which I hope will help smash my writer's block to little pieces (take that!). All with awesome profs (hope I'm still singing that tune in the future...).
Personal life has been pretty much the same. I'm gonna go clubbing and to Broadway this weekend so can't wait for that. And...yeah...
That sounds about good for now. Just gotta keep on plugging away ya know?
Here's to March and the warmer weather that comes with it!
Also all my lovelies I leave you with the refrain from Mad World, a beautifully tragic song from Donnie Darko, a beautifully (and rather weird I admit it) movie. It's been stuck in my head.
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
